ATC does not support the regulation of the Internet by any one entity. We believe that people should use the Internet responsibly; and that while everyone has the right of free speech on the Internet, that right is not without limitations based upon principles of common decency and good sense. It is for this reason ATC has developed this Terms of Service Agreement (TOS).

1. By using any of the services offered by ATC you agree to be bound by and must comply with this TOS in its entirety.

2. ATC agrees to provide the customer access to the Internet. The customer clearly understands that the Internet is made of many different networks and that ATC cannot be, and indeed is not, responsible for content found outside its own network.

3. ATC presently does not place any limit on the number of times a customer may connect to the service; however, the term "unlimited access" does not mean that a customer may stay logged on the system twenty-four hours a day. Customers are expected to log off the service when they are not using it and are also expected to maintain no more than one active dial-up connection at a time. Customers who need 24 hour always on connections can enter a contract specifically for dedicated services. We are going to use the necessary software to automatically terminate the connections of users who are logged on but not active. This type activity unnecessarily ties up bandwidth causing other users problems with connectivity.

4. ATC does not prohibit customers from accessing any material on the Internet so long as they are legally allowed to do so. Customers may not use the service to send or receive any material of an illegal nature.

5. Customers may not use personal web space to store any material that violates any laws.

6. Customers may not use e-mail accounts to send unsolicited commercial e-mail (spam).

7. Customers are explicitly prohibited from using the ATC network in an attempt to gain unauthorized access to or disrupt the service of any computer system connected to the Internet. ATC pledges to cooperate fully with all law enforcement agencies and other network administrators to track down and prosecute all violators.

8. You agree to defend, hold harmless, and expeditiously indemnify ATC from any and all liability, claim, loss, damage or expense arising out of your breach or violation of any covenant contained in this TOS.

9. You agree to waive and hold ATC harmless from all claims relating to, or as a result of, any action taken by ATC as part of an investigation into a suspected violation of this TOS or as a result of its conclusion that a violation of this TOS has occurred.
